Release Notes 8.8 Opmetrix App & HQ

Opmetrix Version 8.8 brings some exciting new features to both Opmetrix HQ and the Opmetrix Application.

Introducing Smartphone Sales

As the field sales and merchandising landscape continues to involve, the need to have everything accessible in your pocket has become greater.

We are excited to share that the sales module is now available on supported smartphone devices. Please note that some specific functionality will be included in our upcoming releases, so stay tuned!

Specific functionality includes the ability to view payment history on a phone, kitsets, barcode scanning, and the addition of contract rules on the fly.

Multiple Device Login Support

With the addition of smartphone sales, we now support the ability to login on multiple devices with one device login. Charges will apply as normal for additional device users (licenses).

Please note: Transaction IDs will be prefixed for users utilising multiple devices to prevent conflicting IDs. Refer to the example below where the transaction ID is prefixed with the number 2.

Contact Update Reminders

Opmetrix Administrators can now set a time period for how often contact details should be checked and/or updated in the Opmetrix App (e.g. every 180 days). This feature will assist management by setting reminders for their field staff to ensure all client details are kept up to date.

Navigate to system settings and search for contact update reminder days. Set the number of days and hit save.

An edit/tick prompt will appear for each contact on the App,

Tapping on the contact details will show the date of when the contact was last updated in the Opmetrix App.

Introducing the HQ Layout Selector

We have added more flexibility to Opmetrix HQ to display your data the way you want it. An additional layout button will now appear on selected sales reports within the transactions section of Opmetrix HQ. The layout selector provides the ability to customise reports to ensure that reporting is tailored to your requirements.

Select the layout button

Select or use the search bar to search for specific fields to add to the report.

In the selected columns area, drag or delete the fields to match the reporting layout.

Hit apply to save this new layout.

Use the save button to either save this new layout as the default report. Alternatively save this layout as a custom report. Reports can also be exported to excel in this customised layout.

Customise Email Subject Lines

You asked and we delivered! Transaction email subject lines can now be customised. Navigate to system settings and search for Transaction Email Subject.

Select variables to add using the insert variable option.

Add text in the content area to form the email subject line and hit save once complete.

Making Opmetrix more secure with our new method of changing passwords

App and HQ users can now change their own passwords. As an HQ Administrator or user, navigate to the login maintenance area and click on the three dots against the device or HQ user that needs to change their password.

Select reset password.

An email will be sent to that user to reset their own password (this email is based on the email address set up in login maintenance).

Other Opmetrix HQ changes:

  • Speed improvements for call cycle reports.

  • New searchable filters added to the Transaction Processing report; Order Number and Our Reference.

  • New filters added to Dashboards; Transaction Source and Transaction Date (entered and delivery dates).

  • Added the ability for users to add more than 6 leave types for App users to select from.

Opmetrix HQ bug fixes:

  • Fixed redirect loop issue when Login Maintenance edit screen is opened in new tab

Other Opmetrix App changes:

  • Android 13 support.

  • iOS16 support.

  • Applied product visibility rules to the in store stock lookup screen (outside of a sale).

  • Added a new setting to make the credit reason compulsory within the transaction header.

Opmetrix App bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where slower/older iOS devices would receive partial (or no) data during a sync if the received sync data size was large.

  • Fixed issue where no products were visible when using setting “show price over image” and the first displayed product had no product images on the stock lookup/product list.

  • Fixed issue on iOS where the number pad automatically opened on showcase view and presented a blank content area when swiping between showcase tiles.

  • Fixed issue where the setting “maximumPercentageDiscount” was ignored.

  • Fixed issue on Android where the footer/bottom buttons fall off the screen (home screen and sales finish screens affected).

  • Fixed issue on Windows where the stock lookup/product list would gradually slow after continued used.

Other Opmetrix B2B changes:

  • Added support for multiple delivery addresses.

  • Updated checkout note entry to save as a header note rather than a detail line note.

Opmetrix B2B bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue where it wasn’t possible to login with intercom/jivo chat enabled.

  • Fixed issue where saved lists never saved the product unit of measure (UOM).

  • Fixed issue where a saved list may fail to apply.
