There's been no change to functionality in Smart Search with the new Opmetrix HQ V7. The Smart Search box is still located in the same place on the screen.
Smart Search is still the fastest way to find and apply a single change to report parameters.
The example below shows a case where the user is looking for one the "Week" parameters to apply as a new filter to the Team Dashboard screen. You will notice that the new version has more white space, which makes the screen easier to read.
Use Smart Search to most quickly:
Set a date range on which to report
Find a single outlet or product to filter
Filter to a specific user/device
