Users are encountering one of the following errors:

⚠️ Problem Summary

Some Android users have reported seeing a “Lost Data” pop-up in the Opmetrix app. This message indicates that data stored on the device could not be synced to HQ (your main inventory system) and has unfortunately been lost.

✅ Resolution

To resolve this issue, please upgrade to the latest version as follows:

  1. Ensure you know your 3 login details (Server, Username, Password).
Contact your team leader if you do not know them, or need your password reset.

  2. Complete a sync on your app, then logout.

  3. Uninstall your existing Opmetrix app. This step is necessary, as merely updating to the new version won't resolve this particular issue.

  4. Open the Play Store on your device:

Google Play Store gets new logo on ...

  5. Search for Opmetrix, and upgrade to the latest version.

  6. Open Opmetrix. You will need to log in with your Server, Username and Password.

✅ Chrome auto-updates

The following only applies to those users who implemented the earlier 'work-around', in which auto-update of Chrome was disabled.

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.

  2. In the top right corner, tap your profile icon.

  3. Go to Settings -> Network Preferences.

  4. Tap "Auto-update apps".

  5. Select your preferred 'update' option, other than "Don't auto-update".
