We have beta launched a new Toggle Wholesale Margin Display feature, enabling users to toggle wholesale margin visibility in App during sales transactions to facilitate effective negotiation. Additionally, users can review margin details within sales transaction histories, providing valuable insights.
Wholesale margin data is also included in HQ reports, supporting strategic analysis of product sales trends and performance.
Please note that this is a beta version, and some calculations may be inaccurate. If you are interested in testing this feature, please reach out to our Customer Success Representative or Product Manager for further details.
This feature can be configured independently for the app and HQ, allowing flexibility in how it is enabled across your organization.
Configuration
App - Turning Toggle Wholesale Margin on/off on app side for selected transaction types
App - Showing reps percentage and/or absolute wholesale margin values
HQ - Allowing report users to manually config wholesale margins in related reports
App
App users will be able to access a Toggle Wholesale Margin button in the Action menu for the following screens:
Outlet screen
This will allow user to show/hide the percentage and/or absolute wholesale margin value for historical transaction types enabled within this outlet.
In this example, we had:
Wholesale Margin Type set to both (absolute and percentage)
Show Toggle Wholesale Margin only enabled for transaction type Order and Credit
Transaction History from an Outlet
From the previous screen, user can click on individual transaction to see the percentage and/or absolute wholesale margin value for historical transaction types with this enabled.
Transaction types with this setting disabled will not show the wholesale margin details in it
During a sales transaction in Subtotals - this will allow user to show/hide the percentage and/or absolute wholesale margin value during a transaction to allow effective sales negotiation with customers
HQ Reports
Once you have this feature enabled on your customer site for HQ, your HQ users will be able to access Wholesale Margin related columns in the following HQ reports:
Transaction Workflow
Transaction Processing
Transaction Detail Lines
Transactions By Device
Transaction Audit Log
These Wholesale Margin columns appear in the HQ reports by default, but can be turned off by individual users when accessing the Layout button in each of these reports and searching for layout columns.
