Once Opmetrix has enabled eCommerce at your site, a new tab eCommerce will be available on the tabs menu of the Opmetrix CMS (Back office and reporting suite)

The eCommerce tab displays a dashboard that tracks sales, customer invitations, and other metrics useful to ensure customers are actively using the system.

If logged in with administrator rights, a settings icon will also be available. This is where you can configure your eCommerce look and feel.

Select the Settings Button

The basic settings to configure are:

Primary Colour

This is the main background colour of the eCommerce site.

There are several ways to select and specify colours.

Note: These methods of selecting and specifying colours also apply to setting the Secondary Colour (further below).

Firstly, if you click on the small rectangular area of colour next to Primary Colour, a drop down box will show the basic default colour palette.

You can select one of the colours shown on this palette, click Save and the colour will be set.

However, there are five further methods you can use to select and specify a colour.

If you click More Colours at the bottom of this drop down palette, a full palette will be available for you to use one of five methods to specify an exact colour.

  1. Using the screen below, you can use the pencil to pick a colour from the gradated colour spectrum shown.

2. If you click the second icon in the screen above (the colour sliders icon), you can access the screen below.

Clicking on the drop down list (where it shows Grayscale Slider in the screen above) will show the following screen. You can chose RGB, CMYK or HSS Sliders to specify an exact colour, as shown below.

3. If you click the middle icon next to the Colour Sliders Icon (the Colour Palettes Icon), the following screen will show. There is a list of Web Safe Colours in 6 character hexadecimal format from which you can pick your colour.

4. The fourth icon is Image Palettes. Click it to show the following screen from where you can use the pencil to pick an colour from the Spectrum shown.

5. The last icon (the Pencils Icon) in the row of five icons enable you to access a section of preset colours that are shown in the form of coloured pencils, as shown below. Select one to set your primary colour.

Secondary Colour

This is the colour used to display the main text headings. Select Edit (the pencil), select a colour, and then save.

Note: You can drill down and choose any of the five additional methods detailed above to specify and select your Secondary Colour.

Additional class attributes for theme

If the background colour selected was a dark colour, change this attribute to light.
This changes the text to white so it is easy to read.  Alternatively if the background colour is light, change this setting to dark so that the text will stand out.

eCommerce Name

Enter the name for the B2B eCommerce site. The system combines the Opmetrix site name and adds this name to it.

In the example below the site name is Opmetrix Demo and then eCommerce was added, giving 'Opmetrix Demo Ecommerce' as the finished eCommerce site name.

When customers login they will see the name on the home page.
