Opmetrix Version 8.3

Opmetrix 8.3 includes a variety of new features and improvements for the field team apps and reporting. As well as new features, version 8.3 has been updated for compatibility with the latest Apple operating system release, iOS15.

Document Distribution

Accessing offline documents from within Opmetrix is a key feature many sales teams use to help in the selling and ordering process. A new feature in 8.3 is to add weblinks which appear in the documents menu.

Weblinks are a handy way to quickly access websites or other applications that field teams need. Weblinks have the same set-up such as the ability to include adding tags, start and end dates, and targeting to specific teams or users just like regular documents.

Custom Dashboards

Custom dashboards for both App users and Head office HQ users have been well received since the release earlier in the year. We have received some great feedback and feature requests. This current release includes many new additions as outlined below:

  • Zoom into a full size dashboard tile using the new full screen icon

  • Dashboards can now be targeted to appear for specific users or teams

  • Dashboards can now be quickly copied using the new duplicate feature

  • Existing dashboard themes, including colour and icon, can now be edited

  • App dashboards have the same date filters as HQ including 'cycles' and 'year-ago'

Apple iOS 15 Compatibility

Apple iOS 15 includes handy new features like the ability to easily split the screen to run multiple apps. Opmetrix supports split screen and the example below shows Opmetrix with the Apple calendar, however most apps including email, photos etc. can also share the screen.

Prospects

Acquiring new customers is important for most businesses. The Opmetrix prospects module enables field teams to add new prospects, record call notes and photos, and create quotes. In 8.3, surveys and objectives now be targeted exclusively to prospects.

For example, create a survey to identify key opportunities for prospects or add follow-up objectives to convert prospects to customers within a target time frame.

B2B eCommerce

Many Opmetrix sites using our B2B eCommerce module for customer self ordering have requested automation to follow up on customers with "open cart" orders.

Version 8.3 enables the ability to design an open cart email that automatically sends to a customer. The email can include your logo, theme colours and includes automatic fields like name and products ordered. The follow up frequency can be set to daily or a specific day of the week.

Shared Call Cycles

Teams that share call cycles will now see a filter under the calendar. Tap the team member name to include/exclude their appointments.

Other features/improvements

  • New setting to make attaching a photo compulsory when adding a calling card

  • When Importing product codes in sales templates it retains the imported sort order

  • Call cycle maintenance can now be filtered to cycle weeks, and specific days of the week

  • Surveys and merchandising can now be targeted to vendors

  • 'Visit Compliance by Outlet' report now shows all outlets (including those without any visits)

  • Dispatch module redesign to display better on smartphone screen size.
