Additional information about a product can be added to the Opmetrix eCommerce platform. The additional information is beneficial to several customers as it can often encourage them to purchase more upon evaluation of a range of products.

The Opmetrix eCommerce platform provides several views that display additional information about the product range.

Adding Additional Product Information

Within the CMS (back end) of Opmetrix, navigate to Admin, then Advanced Settings.

Labels must firstly be added within the Product Extra Fields section to describe the additional information. The checkbox to show Available in eCommerce must be selected.

It may not be suitable to present a large amount of product information within the detail view (please refer to this article outlining the various eCommerce views). To highlight the fields to display within the detail view only, simply navigate to the eCommerce settings page.

Simply type in the labels to display within the detail view only.
